This September 19 we have had the honor of hosting the II INTERNATIONAL COOKING COMPETITION WITH SHRIMP FROM SÓLLER in our Suculenta Restaurant in Pórt de Sóller.
The team for this long-awaited contest was made up of Sebastià Aguiló as promoter of the event, Kiko Martorell as culinary advisor, Aina Pons as technical coordinator and Andoni Sarriegi as gastronomic director.
The recipes have been evaluated in this same act by the jury, which has assessed these five aspects: flavor, preparation, treatment of the shrimp, originality and presentation.
The contestants have had a preliminary phase of two hours to prepare the mise en place of their dish. During the final, they finished and presented live six portions of their recipe. Professionals and amateurs of gastronomy and friends of Sóller have enjoyed experiencing the contest live in our facilities.
The resulting winner was Ricardo Rossi, chef at the Valldemossa restaurant.
All the participants have received a title accrediting this II SÓLLER PRAWN CONTEST and have been able to enjoy a buffet in the same Suculenta Restaurant facilities after the end of the event at 2:00 p.m.
